How to calm down right now, in one minute
Your heart is fast, your thoughts are loud and you need relief before you can do anything else. This is a short method you can use anywhere: at your desk, in the car park, in the corridor outside a difficult meeting.
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. Cancel in the first 30 days and you pay nothing.

The one-minute method
- Notice. Say quietly: “I am stressed.” Naming it already gives you a little space.
- Slow the out-breath. In for four, out for six. Repeat five times.
- Feel the body. Feet on the floor, shoulders down, jaw soft, hands loose.
- Let thoughts pass. You do not have to stop them. Just do not follow them.
- Rest. For a few seconds, simply be aware that you are here.
If you have a few more minutes
Open Restful Awareness and tap how you feel. A guided session of 3 to 20 minutes starts at once. You do not have to choose from a long list or learn anything first.

Questions people ask
How can I calm down quickly?
A longer out-breath than in-breath, relaxed shoulders and a feet-on-the-floor moment help many people within a minute.
How do I calm down when I am anxious?
Slow breathing, naming the feeling and a short guided session can bring you back to the present. If anxiety is frequent or strong, speak with a health professional.
Is there an app that calms me down fast?
Restful Awareness starts a session from one tap on how you feel, so there is no menu to wade through when you are stressed.
